Mursi people
The Mursi are an African tribe that is located in Debub Omo, Ethiopia, whose members are estimated to be about 9,000, who live mainly in Jinka steppes and mountains of the Omo Park in the region of Central Omo in Ethiopia. Their language, the Mursi, belongs to the Nilo-Saharan languages.
The Jalaba (council of older men of the village) are the decision makers. The Mursi like the Surma maintain ancestral traditions including the Dunga, battle-festive youth provided a long rods, in which they are victorious warriors who get the right to choose a spouse and respect for the opponents.
Surma women look embedded clay plates in their lips and ears, as well as the hairstyles are amazing ornaments like metal rings and various fabrics, The men look spectacular painted with white chalk drawings all over her body.
